Calling All Superheroes! The always racy, always kinky and always daring Hope and Help Headdress Ball moves location this year to . . . Champions Gate. Held in the new, enormous, and stunning Omni Resort in the equally stunning town of Champions Gate, this year's Headdress Ball promises more of the usual annual fun: a gay event featuring a little charitable gambling, bidding on some auctions, and some Orlando-loving rips on cheesy Las Vegas entertainment. This event is always attended by a slew of local celebtrities and TV personalities, all reveling in debauchery. More details to come as they're released, but what's known is that this year's theme is: Superheroes. So, if you don't wear your tux, you better show up in tights and a cape.
Proceeds from all funds benefitting the fantastic Hope and Help Center, the premier HIV and AIDS charity in Central Florida. Tickets, starting at $200 each, now available at 407.645.2577
Reminder: Non-costumed attendees must wear black-tie. Second Reminder: Though the name, to some, implies a drag event, this is actually not a drag show, per se. But it is racy so. . .plan on getting a little fun shock for your two-hundred dollars, knowing that all proceeds are going to help those living with HIV/AIDS and to help prevent further infection in the Orlando area.
