Orlando Pride activity, part of Gay Pride weekend, held in the weeks following the Orlando Gay Days celebration. Picnic is great opportunity for couples, families and singles to come together to celebrate the achievements and the strength of the individuals comprising the Orlando gay community.
Mayor Bill Frederick Park is located in what was for years known as the Turkey Lake Park complex. Entrance is on Hiawassee Road, north of Conroy Road and South of MetroWest Boulevard.No charge for event; however, Bill Frederick Park charges a $4 entrance fee per vehicle.
Though this event is normally held the same weekend as the PridE march, this year's Pride Parade/March, through Downtown Orlando, has been re-scheduled to October 15th as part of Orlando's Come Out With Pride Event.
